Korean Restaurant in Captain Cook Area on the Big Island

Korean Restaurant in Captain Cook Area on the Big Island

On a sign at the side of the road in Honokau it says "Liquor, Wine Korean BBQ". We went to the Place of Refuge beach and some people were eating some Asian food. I asked them where they got it, and they said the Korean BBQ place in Captain Cook. So, I stopped and had BBQ Chicken and Garlic Shrimp. It was excellent and only $10 -- best bang for the food buck since we got here. Anyway, when i told the lady at the restaurant (who could barely speak English) that my son (donut2d) was in Suwon, Korea visiting his girlfriend, she broke out into a big smile and said that she came from a town only 30 metres from Suwon (perhaps she meant 30 kilometres). Anyway, I got extra big portions of food -- it was spicy, tasty and wonderful.

Corner Brook By Nite

Corner Brook By Nite

A scene of the city of Corner Brook taken from Captain Cook's Monument about an hour after sunset. This started as an experiment on how far I could push this camera on handheld very low light situations. ISO of 25,600 used.
*Happy Easter to everyone*
